Through the BlueGuardian software and your bluetooth mobile (or your USB pendrive) you can block any unwelcome access to your PC.
Your data is protected by checking for the presence of your bluetooth mobile phone near the computer through bluetooth functionality. If BlueGuardian notices its presence, the computer works normally. Otherwise, a window will close the screen and will forbid the access to any of the computer´s resources, and the user will be asked to active the key (mobile) or to enter the password. For all practical purposes, if you always have your mobile with you, you can say that BlueGuardian recognises you. When you are present, the computer works normally; if you go away, the computer automatically blocks any access to your data. Naturally, the Bluetooth technology works through wireless waves and in this way there is no need that the mobile be physically seen from the computer: you can carry it where you normally do (in your pocket, in your bag, etc.). To allow also people who don´t have Bluetooth technology to use BlueGuardian, the latest version of the software includes the possibility of controlling the access to the computer through a USB Pen Drive.Naturally, you are able to transfer this control to your bluetooth mobile at any moment. |
